Without hard work and an internal drive to be great your chances of creating a long term, succesful business will be greatly decreased. Please remember that hard work should always go hand in hand with working smart because without the two you are doing nothing more than wasting time and effort.
Hard work means being diligent to the task at hand. To stay at things until they are completed. To continue to study the details and specifications about your product until you can discuss them intelligently and without hesitation.
I don’t want to inundate you with sports analogies, but the information about our current superstars is readily available and certainly helps to illustrate a lot of important points. Hank Haney, the swing coach of Tiger Woods during six of his major wins wrote about Tiger’s work ethic in his book called the “Big Miss”.

You may be thinking, hey it’s golf, how much hard work is that? Of course in a certain respect you are correct, but how many of us have this type of dedication to our job? How many of us practice and workout like this every day? Tiger Woods is arguably the best golfer that ever lived and yet he still puts in this kind of effort and hard work. Why? Because he knows that if he doesn’t that he stands no chance of reaching his ultimate goal of winning more major championships than Jack Nicklaus.
